MFS SERIES OF MOTORIZED FEED SYSTEMS

SSE MOTORIZED FEED SYSTEM ANTENNA The MFS series provides a new level of industrial-duty Motorized Feed Systems. They are available with our SSE NAVIGATOR SERIES steerable antenna systems in 3.8-meter and 4.5-meter confi gurations. They are an easy retrofit for virtually any existing prime-focus antenna. All MFS feed systems feature discreet focal-distance adjustments so that the feedhorn can be positioned to accurately illuminate the reflector. We have found this focal distance adjustment to be very important with reference to Ku-band satellite access.

    MFS-1CKU

    SSE-MFS-1CKU
This model features a four-port feedhorn that provides access to both C and Ku-band frequencies in Vertical and Horizontal Polarizations.

    SSE MFS-1C

    SSE-MFS-1C
This model features a C-band feedhorn for customers who do not require Ku-band frequencies.

    SSE MFS-2CKU SSE-MFS-2CKU
The outstanding feature of this model is that it is configured with two identical four port feedhorns and associated LNBís. In case of LNB failure, the NAVIGATOR antenna can be adjusted so that the backup feedhorn replaces the primary feedhorn. In conjunction with our SSE RSP2150 Redundancy Switch Switch, this task can be completely automated.

Also, the redundancy switch provides automatic DC power backup to the LNB and switches the RF inputs over to the backup feedhorn. For complete information about the SSE RSP2150 Redundancy Switch contact Superior Satellite Engineers.

    SSE MFS-2C

    SSE-MFS-2C
This feed system is configured with two (2) C-band only feedhorns, for those applications that do not require Ku-band satellite access. It has the same backup features as the SSE-MFS-2CKU described above.
